Astound Named #1 Cable ISP Nationwide for 5th Consecutive Year

Astound Once Again Tops the List in PC Magazine 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards

PRINCETON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Astound, a recognized leader in WiFi, mobile, TV, and fiber‑optic solutions, has been named the #1 cable-based Internet Service Provider (ISP) in the nation for the fifth year in a row by PC Magazine’s annual Readers’ Choice Awards.

The Readers’ Choice Awards are driven entirely by customers. PC Magazine readers across the United States and Canada participated in the comprehensive annual survey, grading their providers on factors like connection reliability, speed, cost, overall satisfaction, and customer service.

Editors at PC Magazine noted: "For the fifth year, Astound Broadband... is the top cable-based ISP, trouncing other providers with bigger names and more reach. It scores particularly well for its ease of use and simple setup. Readers tell us that since signing up with Astound, they feel no need to ever switch again."

In the survey results, Astound scored an 8.9 for both set up and ease of use, while receiving a score of 8.3 for overall customer satisfaction. That satisfaction is perhaps best captured by one survey participant who described what led him to make the switch: “Years of dealing with high prices, substandard service, and zero customer loyalty perks made me switch. Astound's prices are very fair for the reliability of the services. I am extremely satisfied with this service so far, and hope to continue to be a loyal customer of Astound for years to come.”

Astound CEO Ettienne Brandt said the recognition reflects the company's long-term commitment to its customers. "Winning this recognition for the fifth consecutive year reflects something our team has built over a long time, a network and a culture that puts customers first, every single day. The scores speak for themselves: when people switch to Astound, they stay. That loyalty is what drives us, and it's exactly the experience we're committed to delivering for our customers."

At a time when households routinely juggle remote work, 4K streaming, online schooling, and multi-device smart home ecosystems, Astound proved that its network doesn't slow down when the neighborhood logs on. Now serving customers across numerous U.S. markets and continuing to execute on its strategic network expansion, Astound is ensuring that more communities have access to that same reliable experience.
