Enter and vote to help recognize America’s most impactful K-12 teachers

FOLSOM, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, PowerSchool, a leading provider of cloud-based software for K-12 education, is proud to announce the launch of the Power of Impact Awards, a nationwide contest designed to recognize and reward exceptional educators making a lasting impact in their schools and communities.

From April 14 to April 27, PowerSchool invites K-12 teachers across the United States to nominate themselves for a chance to win one of three major cash prizes. Following a public voting period, the three top-voted educators will be awarded:

  • 1st Place: $10,000
  • 2nd Place: $5,000
  • 3rd Place: $2,500

“As the trusted technology partner to thousands of districts, we see firsthand the dedication and heart teachers pour into their work,” said Ryan Imbriale, Group Vice President and Head of Worldwide Education at PowerSchool. “The Power of Impact Awards are a way for us to spotlight their stories and show our appreciation for their unwavering commitment to student success.”

Enter. Vote. Celebrate.

Educators can enter themselves by completing a short online form, sharing their name, school, and a brief description of how they make a difference. Once nominations close, the public can vote for their favorite educators from April 28 through May 9. To ensure fairness, voting will be limited to one vote per email per day.

Finalists are encouraged to share on social media to rally their communities behind them. Winners will be determined by popular vote and announced after Teacher Appreciation Week.
