Since launching in 2022, Concert for Cures has raised $20 million to support early-phase adult and pediatric cancer research at Southern California’s premier research institutions. Previous performers include Alicia Keys with the San Diego Symphony Orchestra (2022) and Ed Sheeran (2023) performing to sell-out crowds at the Rady Shell at Jacobs Park. This year’s Concert for Cures expanded to Petco Park and brought together more than 27,000 attendees for a night of music, unity, and hope for cures for cancer.

Curebound CEO Anne Marbarger says, “We are profoundly grateful for the outpouring of support from our community, our sponsors, and Elton John. This concert was about more than music—it was about momentum and raising funds we urgently need to fast-track collaborative cancer research that supports our vision of cures in our lifetime.”

Curebound’s success is made possible by support from many corporate partners including Culligan, Clayco, Rady Children’s Hospital, UC San Diego, Salk Institute, Casa Dragones, Brand Napa Valley, ResMed, Pacific Immunology, AlphaCore Wealth Advisory, Manchester Grand Hyatt, JP Morgan, Tide Rock, Garrett Popcorn, Alexandria Real Estate Equities, UC San Diego Concierge Medicine, Schubach Aviation, Pacific Point, UC San Diego Sanford Stem Cell Institute, Pfizer, Maravai Life Sciences, and SDSU.
