Affinity Federal Credit Union President’s Invitational Golf Outing Raises $214,000 in Support of Affinity Foundation

Proceeds from the annual fundraiser benefits local communities served by Affinity in New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut

BASKING RIDGE, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Affinity Federal Credit Union (“Affinity”) recently hosted its annual President’s Invitational Golf Outing, raising over $214,000 for the Affinity Foundation (“Foundation”). The event, held on June 9, 2025, welcomed 126 golfers along with additional guests and 35 sponsors.

The Foundation is grateful to recognize the top sponsors of the event including Allied Solutions, Fiserv, Vericast, VISA, Inc., Alloy, Candescent, Ferreira Construction, Olden Lane, Peter J. Liska, LLC, and Trustage. Their generous support is integral to the Foundation’s ability to provide Affinity members and communities with solutions to improve financial wellbeing, enable self-sufficiency and end the cycle of poverty.

“We are humbled by the generosity of our partners, sponsors, and vendors, many of whom return year after year to support the work of the Foundation,” said Kelly Watts, Executive Director of Affinity Foundation. “Their continued support is essential as the need in our communities continues to grow. Programs like our community grants and Member Relief Fund are more important than ever, and it is critical we each do our part to help our members and communities thrive. Together, we're making a meaningful impact and advancing the Foundation’s mission.”

The Foundation provides multi-year and annual grants to mission-driven community non-profits, awards academic scholarships, and provides real-time member relief grants to Affinity members in financial need. The President’s Invitational, cocktail reception, and dinner allowed for reflection on the success of the Foundation in the past year and a look at what is planned moving ahead.

“In times of economic uncertainty, when many of our members are navigating the pressures of inflation, the work of the Foundation becomes even more vital,” said Kevin Bauer, CEO and President of Affinity. “We deeply value the Foundation’s role in connecting members to critical community resources, and we’re proud to stand behind its efforts to uplift and support the communities we serve.”

The event concluded with first prize awarded to the Fiserv team; second place given to Allied Solutions; and third place went to Sherman Atlas Sylvester & Stamelman, LLP and Southwest Business Corporation.
