Auctane Appoints Technology Growth Leader and Logistics Veteran Josh Steinitz as Chief Strategy Officer

With a distinguished career in both travel and logistics, Steinitz brings a unique perspective on global operations, logistics, and partnerships. Seeking to advance Auctane’s longstanding position as a market leader and driver of industry innovation, Steinitz will lead corporate development, strategic partnerships, carrier relationships and strategy, and cross-border solutions.

Before joining Auctane, Steinitz led corporate business development for Amazon Worldwide Operations, managing strategic partnerships and investments in fulfillment, logistics, and transportation across Amazon’s global supply chain. He was instrumental in launching Amazon Logistics, expanding Amazon Air, and driving sustainability efforts across the business, including partnerships with companies like Rivian, Stellantis, ATSG, PlugPower, DHL, and others. His team also led commercial relationships and investments in digital mapping, EV charging, parcel delivery, robotics and autonomy, and supply chain software, among other sectors. Previously, he spent nearly two decades in the travel industry, serving as Vice President of Global Business Development at Revinate and founding NileGuide, which sold to Travora Media. Earlier in his career, he helped launch the media business at Away.com, acquired by Orbitz. Steinitz holds a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University.
