Applied Information’s Glance® Awarded TX-RAMP Certification, Strengthening Commitment to Secure Cloud Services for Texas Agencies

Certification affirms cloud security standards for Glance connected transportation solutions used across the state

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Applied Information, Inc., the leading provider of intelligent transportation infrastructure technology, announced today that its Glance® Connected Vehicle-to-Everything (C-V2X) school beacon and intersection solutions have achieved Level 2 certification under the Texas Risk and Authorization Management Program (TX-RAMP).

Administered by the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR), TX-RAMP provides a standardized approach to assessing the security of cloud services used by Texas state agencies and public institutions. Level 2 certification is required for services that manage confidential or regulated data, such as transportation information systems operated by local and state governments.

The certification enables more than 50 agency partners across Texas to meet state cybersecurity standards while deploying connected solutions for school zone safety and signalized intersections. The Glance platform integrates real-time monitoring and control of traffic infrastructure with advanced connected vehicle capabilities designed to improve safety and mobility.

“Meeting TX-RAMP Level 2 standards reflects our ongoing investment in secure, scalable infrastructure for our customers,” said Bryan Mulligan, President of Applied Information. “This achievement not only fulfills state requirements but also supports our broader commitment to cybersecurity and data integrity for all of our customers.”

TX-RAMP certification evaluates 17 domains of cybersecurity practices, including access control, risk management, audit logging, and incident response. Glance joins a growing list of authorized solutions available for Texas public sector procurement.
