Better-for-You Food Suppliers – 34 in all – Join the Queue for Data Sharing with the ReposiTrak Traceability Network

Companies throughout the industry are preparing to share traceability data with multiple customers through easy-to-use ReposiTrak Traceability Network

SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ReposiTrak (NYSE:TRAK), the world’s largest food traceability and regulatory compliance network, leveraging its established inventory management and out-of-stock reduction SaaS platform, announces the addition of 34 co-packers and food manufacturers to the ReposiTrak Traceability Network®. These companies will efficiently exchange intricate, FDA-required Key Data Elements (KDEs) for each Critical Tracking Event (CTE) in their supply chains, with the goal of meeting the growing traceability demands of their retail customers.

“More than 70 major retailers and wholesalers have announced some type of traceability requirement to-date. Nearly HALF have established deadlines that are sooner than the FDA’s,” said ReposiTrak Chairman and CEO Randy Fields.

The companies in the queue to use ReposiTrak for food traceability data sharing include a New Jersey-based producer of plant-based frozen foods known for its nutritious, veggie-forward options that cater to health-conscious consumers. Also participating is a family-owned salsa and enchilada sauce co-packer and manufacturer from New Mexico, celebrated for its authentic Southwestern flavors and traditional small-batch recipes. Joining them is a Brooklyn-based frozen snack company specializing in gluten-free, chef-inspired offerings that blend global flavors with convenient formats. Rounding out the list is a high-protein snack brand focused on crispy chicken skin snacks, delivering a bold, low-carb alternative for on-the-go consumers.

“More than 70 major retailers and wholesalers have announced some type of traceability requirement to-date. Nearly HALF have established deadlines that are sooner than the FDA’s,” said ReposiTrak Chairman and CEO Randy Fields. “In other words, as a supplier, co-packer or manufacturer – if your customer has asked for food traceability, then you have a responsibility to support food traceability.”

The ReposiTrak Traceability Network requires no additional hardware. Every traceability data file is checked using a 500+ point error detection process and ReposiTrak's U.S.-based team works with food manufacturers and suppliers to make corrections, so that the data is as complete and accurate as possible before it reaches their retail, wholesale or foodservice customers.
