Wolverine Worldwide Releases 2024 Global Impact Report

ROCKFORD, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Wolverine World Wide, Inc. (NYSE: WWW), one of the world’s leading designers, marketers, and licensors of footwear and apparel, today released its Global Impact Report showcasing its progress in 2024 across four key categories – people, planet, product, and purpose – that are foundational to the Company’s ongoing transformation and driving towards its new vision to Make.   • 75% of global employees participated in the Company’s 2024 engagement survey, highlighting employees’ commitment to shaping workplace culture
  • 84% of participating employees have a strong belief in the Company, highlighting employees’ alignment to the Company’s goals and strategy

Planet

  • Measured and disclosed the Company’s Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions for the first time
  • 17,000 MWh of Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) purchased to help offset electricity usage at North American locations
  • Nearly 170 tons of paper and corrugated cardboard were recycled in U.S.-based locations

Product

  • 155 social compliance audits conducted across 96% of Company’s Tier I factories
  • 100% of leather used by Wolverine Worldwide brands came from Leather Working Group Gold- or Silver-rated tanneries

Purpose

  • Launched the Wolverine Worldwide Foundation’s three mission pillars reflective of Company’s brands, consumers, and employees
  • Held its first Global Day of Purpose – a day of volunteerism for the Company’s global workforce, with the goal of giving back to local communities. This resulted in nearly 1,000 hours of donated service time.
