PHINIA Debuts Expanded Technology Portfolio for Off-Highway Customers at Agritechnica

  • PHINIA to exhibit for the first time at Agritechnica, signaling strategic intent to target growth opportunities in the agriculture and off-highway market.
  • Enhanced solutions for natural gas, hydrogen and other alternative fuel ignition systems position PHINIA as an agile partner for agricultural customers.

AUBURN HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PHINIA Inc. (NYSE: PHIN), a global leader in premium fuel systems, electrical systems, and aftermarket solutions, today announced its debut at Agritechnica, the world's leading trade fair for agricultural machinery. Taking place between November 9-15, PHINIA’s inaugural presence at the trade show marks a significant step forward in the company’s strategic expansion into the off-highway market.

PHINIA will showcase its expanded technology portfolio, following the acquisition of Swedish Electromagnet Invest AB (“SEM”), to support the agricultural transition from diesel to lower-carbon and zero-carbon alternative fuels. This includes advanced capabilities in natural gas, hydrogen, and other alternative fuel ignition systems, injector stators, and linear position sensors.

With these expanded capabilities, PHINIA is the first-to-market in offering low-cost combustion systems that support the transition to off-highway carbon neutrality. Combined with PHINIA’s deep heritage in fuel systems and combustion technologies for high-performance industrial applications, agricultural customers will benefit from over 100 years of manufacturing expertise and industry relationships, and a strong brand portfolio that includes DELPHI®, DELCO REMY® and HARTRIDGE™.

“The global off-highway market is poised for strong growth by 2030” said John Lipinski, PHINIA Vice President and General Manager, Europe. “The industry therefore requires new innovations to offset carbon emissions, without comprising operational efficiencies. Already trusted by off-highway manufacturers, agricultural customers are increasingly seeing PHINIA as a viable supplier to meet their requirements.”

Lipinski continued, “PHINIA’s debut at Agritechnica showcases our commitment to continuous innovation and investment in solutions that enable immediate efficiencies for agricultural combustion engines. This will not only support compliance with ever-evolving diesel engine emission standards, but also advancement of the next-generation of off-highway combustion systems in the transition to carbon neutrality.”
