Champion® Homes Wins Gold Award for Modular Home Design in the National Association of Home Builders Best in American Living™ Awards, Highlighting Modular Construction as Beautiful, Functional Housing Solution

TROY, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Champion Homes, Inc. (NYSE: SKY) (“Champion Homes”) has been recognized by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Best in American Living™ Awards (BALA) as a Gold Award Winner for its stunning chalet-inspired custom modular home, the Muncy.

Champion was selected for the Best Modular Home Design category in the building industry’s premier residential construction awards. The Muncy showcases the custom capabilities and beautiful aesthetics of modern modular construction for thoughtful homebuyers.

“We’re thrilled to be recognized as a BALA Gold Award Winner. Not only are we honored to receive this prestigious award, but we’re also excited that it demonstrates what’s possible with our offsite-built team and capabilities,” said Champion Homes President and CEO Tim Larson. “The Muncy is a hallmark example of the benefits of modern modular construction for homebuyers looking for a high-quality home of their own that’s exquisitely designed from the inside out.”

Nestled along a peaceful lake in Pennsylvania’s Endless Mountains, the Muncy has dramatic cathedral ceilings and gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the home with light. A set of patio doors leads to an oversized wraparound deck, providing outstanding forest views and offering a serene connection to nature.

With 1,370 square feet, one bedroom and two-and-a-half bathrooms, the Muncy has an open concept floorplan created for rest and retreat. The heart of the home is the luxurious kitchen with an oversized island, quartz waterfall countertops and custom light fixtures.

The chalet-inspired design continues in the tranquil loft space that overlooks the first floor. An elegant en-suite primary bathroom features LED-backlit mirrors, a double vanity and a walk-in shower. Additional custom design elements include a unique walk-in coat closet and luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout the home. A versatile unfinished basement makes the home ready for expansion and provides extra storage space.

This gorgeous, functional design highlights the capabilities of modular construction to deliver a striking home that’s custom-built for generations to come.

The Muncy was manufactured at Champion Homes’s Liverpool, Pa., facility and built in collaboration with River Valley Builders in Muncy, Pa.

Champion Homes is proud to be one of only a handful of offsite-built home manufacturers recognized as a BALA Gold Award Winner. A diverse panel of industry professionals selected the winners from more than 600 entries.

The BALA Gold Awards were presented on Feb. 18, 2026, at the NAHB International Builders’ Show in Orlando, Fla., the building industry’s premier event. The BALA, sponsored by SMEG, spotlights the most creative and innovative residential construction projects that redefine excellence for homes and communities around the world representing design, multifamily, offsite construction and remodeling.

“I’m proud of our outstanding team, who worked tirelessly to bring this magnificent modular home to life,” said Doug Moyer, Sales Manager of the Champion Homes Liverpool, Pa., manufacturing facility. “With this distinguished award, we’ve set the bar extremely high for the quality of construction, thoughtful design, beautiful aesthetics and wow-factor of modern modular homes.”
