GOLDEN, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Golden Peak Media, one of the largest media and education companies serving art and craft enthusiasts in the United States, has named David Saabye as Chief Executive Officer. Jeffrey Litvack will transition from his current role as CEO to Chairman.

“It’s been an honor to serve as Peak’s CEO,” stated Jeffrey Litvack. “However, now is the right time for a leadership change, and David is the right person to guide Peak through the next phase. I look forward to working with David to continue to expand our digital offerings, events, and virtual workshops for our dedicated enthusiasts.”

Saabye most recently was senior vice president/digital product management at BridgeTower Media, where he led digital transformation with new product management best practices across a portfolio of more than 40 media brands and information services geared to professions in business, construction, legal, HR, and home design. Before that, he was chief product officer at Adweek. His experience includes product development and editorial roles at ALM Media, which provides specialized business news and information serving the legal, commercial real estate, benefits, consulting, insurance and financial services industries; and the Associated Press, the global news cooperative.

“David has a strong track record of increasing the value at digital product and information services companies,” said Terry O’Toole, founder of Golden Peak Media. “He brings an extensive background in cross-media strategy, digital advertising, and product management. His skill set is ideally suited to achieving our strategic initiatives to broaden the product portfolio and accelerate subscriber and revenue growth.”

O’Toole continued, “I want to thank Jeff for his remarkable leadership as CEO. He successfully launched new digital products, with daily newsletters, invigorated websites and a new Makers Club digital membership, while being acutely focused on driving value through new revenue strategies and improving operational efficiency. Through it all, he’s been focused on the customer experience, and making it better and more engaging. I look forward to his continued guidance in his role as Chairman.”
