Armour Excavating Acquires Buck Valley Trucking

CENTER POINT, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Armour Excavating LLC (“Armour”), a provider of excavating services and aggregate materials, is pleased to announce the acquisition of R Cedar LLC dba Buck Valley Trucking, based in Center Point, Texas.

“Buck Valley Trucking cultivated a number of long-term customer relationships in hauling sectors that add to the depth of Armour’s services. We look forward to continuing to provide excellent service to all of their customers. In addition, we welcome all of the employees into the Armour team,” said Stephen Day, owner of Armour.

“Armour is an excellent home for the Buck Valley team, customers, and suppliers. Armour places a high value on customer service, safety, and operates one of the newest truck fleets in Kerrville, TX. Stephen and I have known each other for several years and worked together well. So, I am confident that the transition to Armour will go well,” said Eric Roehl, owner of Buck Valley Trucking.

In order to accommodate new customers, Armour has invested in additional equipment including a 55-ton triple axle lowboy, 39-foot aluminum end dump, and one tractor. Armour will extend evening and weekend deliveries to all new customers effective immediately. The materials yard will be expanded to carry additional products such as sand and 57 rock.

With this acquisition, Armour is proud to expand its operations to Center Point. The new office location is now located at 5861 TX-27, Center Point, TX 78010.
