FlightHub Launches Say Yes to Travel: A Documentary Series Showcasing the Emotional Power of Travel

More than meets the eye: FlightHub’s new series follows four people around the world, showing how travel – beyond sight-seeing – fuels passion, sparks creativity, and connects people across cultures.

MONTREAL--(BUSINESS WIRE)--FlightHub™, a leading North American online travel agency, is proud to unveil Say Yes to Travel, a new branded short-form documentary series that explores travel not as a destination, but as a transformative experience.

With a visual tone that is human, cinematic, and reflective, Say Yes to Travel invites viewers to embrace travel as more than movement from one place to another. It is a lifestyle, a creative catalyst, and a reminder of how the world leaves its mark on us.

A rollout designed to inspire

Say Yes to Travel officially launches with the Hero film on September 17, kicking off a broader campaign that celebrates how travel fuels passions. This debut sets the stage for weekly releases that follow everyday people on extraordinary journeys, showing how FlightHub makes it possible to experience the world in surprising and life-shaping ways. Offering fresh stories that showcase the many ways travel sparks inspiration and self-expression, the series continues with weekly spotlights on each participant’s journey, with new episodes releasing weekly until October 17.

“Through Say Yes to Travel, we wanted to lean into cinematic storytelling that shows the emotional power of travel, how it inspires creativity, has an impact on who we are, and leaves us with stories that stay long after we return home,” said Ayoub Hissar, Director of Brand Marketing and Communications at FlightHub.

A series about creativity, culture, and connection

Filmed across France, Romania, Qatar, the UAE, and Canada, the series captures how global experiences spark creativity. As part of the project, FlightHub brought four individuals to Canada, from Montréal to Ottawa via Gatineau and other spectacular regions of Québec, where they immersed themselves in cultural diversity, captivating cities, and breathtaking natural landscapes. Canada serves as a powerful backdrop to the series, showing how inspiring and enriching the country can be.

“Canada is a mosaic of cultures, communities, and environments, which makes it the perfect place to showcase the emotional power of travel,” said Hissar. “By bringing our participants here, we wanted to highlight the richness and diversity of Canadian destinations and show that extraordinary experiences can be found both across the world and right in our own backyard.”

These creators’ journeys bring the series to life, showing how travel shapes perspectives and fuels passions in ways that are uniquely their own:

  • Diana Barbu – A painter in search of the world’s hidden treasures to ignite creativity
A Romanian artist blending surrealism, design, and storytelling, Diana finds inspiration in cityscapes, hidden art gems, and the emotional force of culture translating her travels into colourful, expressive works.
  • Marion Huber – A foodie seeking the globe’s secret tastes
A French-German adventurer whose love for food began with her grandfather, Marion explores the world through markets, meals, and cooking classes, connecting with the human stories behind every dish. That’s what brought her to Dubai, a true sensorial experience.
  • Nabil Guedioura – A soccer player uncovering secret arenas of skill and passion
Born into an Algerian football family in France, Nabil’s career has taken him across leagues and countries. Today in Doha, he reflects on how both travel and sport connect people beyond borders.
  • Marwane Aouami – A dancer chasing unique rhythms that inspire
An Italian-Moroccan content creator and dancer who began exploring self-expression during the pandemic, Marwane transforms intimate, everyday spaces into stages where vulnerability and artistry move as one. In Paris, he found the perfect playground for his video creations, dancing in the city of lights.

The stories behind the creators’ unique perspectives

“One of the things that surprised me the most about Canada is how open people are to conversations with strangers,” said Marwane Aouami, dancer and content creator. “It made every moment feel alive and connected, like the world was inviting me to move, create, and feel in ways I never imagined.”

Other creators echoed the impact of travel on their craft.

“Cooking in new places taught me that food is a universal language,” added Marion Huber, foodie. “Even when words fail, a meal can tell you everything about a culture and its people.”

Where and when to watch

With a visual tone that is human, cinematic, and reflective, Say Yes to Travel invites viewers to embrace travel as more than movement from one place to another. It is a lifestyle, a creative catalyst, and a reminder of how the world leaves its mark on us.

The series begins September 17 on FlightHub’s digital platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, with new episodes rolling out weekly through the fall.
