Autel Highlights Grid-Aware and Fleet-Focused Charging Technologies at Sydney EV Charging Innovation Seminar

Autel strengthens Australia localization strategy with intelligent charging and integrated energy solutions

SYDNEY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Autel Energy hosted its “Powering the Future – Autel 2026 EV Charging Innovation Seminar” in Sydney on 9 June, gathering industry partners, customers, and ecosystem stakeholders to explore the future of intelligent EV charging and energy infrastructure in Australia.

The event also introduced controllable power factor adjustment technology, making it Australia’s first charging solution with reactive power compensation – actively serving as a “grid stabilizer” and achieving a technology breakthrough.

The seminar opened with a video address from Li Hongjing (Frank Li), Chairman of Autel, who reaffirmed the company’s commitment to “building a smarter, more connected, and sustainable charging infrastructure ecosystem.”

Marking an Australia premiere redefining standards for charging infrastructure, Autel introduced multiple innovations tailored to the Australian market. The DH120 DC charger features an ultra-slim 25 cm cabinet depth and a footprint of less than 0.16 m2. It supports simultaneous charging for two vehicles with up to 97% efficiency. The event also introduced controllable power factor adjustment technology, making it Australia’s first charging solution with reactive power compensation – actively serving as a “grid stabilizer” and achieving a technology breakthrough. For convenient payment, the AC Single series is the first to integrate Nayax card payment, bridging the final step of the payment process. On the fleet side, a “1+1 primary‑backup switching” terminal with hardware-level redundancy ensures “zero downtime” and business continuity. Finally, Autel also showcased a smart AC charger supporting direct PV connection, enabling households to prioritize surplus solar energy for EV charging and reduce electricity costs.

In addition, Autel presented its iGreen Charging Solution – an integrated solar-storage-charging ecosystem powered by an AI-driven energy management platform. Combining energy storage, photovoltaic generation, and EV charging infrastructure, the solution dynamically optimizes energy dispatch and load forecasting to improve power utilization, reduce operating costs, and enhance long-term profitability for operators.

Mosen Wang, Special Consultant to the Chairman of Autel, noted that Autel’s strategy is simple but powerful, built on its expertise in power electronics and AI intelligence. Then Henry He, CEO of Autel APAC Region, emphasized that “Australia faces unique challenges, including limited commercial land availability, grid stability constraints, and stringent uptime requirements for fleet operations, which will be addressed by Autel’s space-efficient design, intelligent grid interaction technology, and hardware-level zero-interruption operation capabilities.”

As Australia accelerates electrification and renewable energy adoption, Autel Energy aims to play a long-term role in advancing intelligent, connected, and sustainable energy infrastructure worldwide.
