Veterinary Dentistry Specialists Welcomes Board-Certified Cardiologist Dr. Michelle Rose to Twin Cities Location 

WOODBURY, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Veterinary Dentistry Specialists^® (VDS) is pleased to announce the addition of veterinary cardiology services at its Twin Cities practice, partnering with board-certified veterinary cardiologist Michelle Rose, DVM, DACVIM (Cardiology), of Twin Cities Veterinary Cardiology.

With 6 locations across the country, Veterinary Dentistry Specialists of Woodbury, MN has added a board-certified cardiologist to their team of dental and anesthesia experts.

Operating Tuesdays through Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM starting July 14, 2026, this new service supports the VDS mission to provide the safest, most advanced dentistry and oral surgery for dogs and cats. Dr. Rose will offer comprehensive outpatient cardiac evaluations, management of heart murmurs and arrhythmias, breed screenings, and pre-anesthetic testing. Outpatient cardiology consultations are open to all patients; concurrent dental care at VDS is not required.

For patients requiring oral surgery, this collaboration introduces a powerful multidisciplinary team approach. The VDS dentistry team and Dr. Rose will coordinate same-day cardiology and anesthesia evaluations. This allows for the development of highly individualized anesthetic protocols specifically designed to safeguard pets with complex cardiac conditions, optimizing safety and clinical outcomes before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Veterinary Cardiology Services include:

• Blood Pressure Monitoring
• Breed Screening and OFA certification
• Echocardiography
• Electrocardiography (ECG or EKG)
• Holter and Event Monitoring
• Pre-anesthetic Evaluation

Dr. Rose earned her DVM from the University of Florida, completed an internship at Texas A&M University, and performed her residency at the University of Minnesota. Certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2009, she founded Twin Cities Veterinary Cardiology in 2024.
