GuideOne Insurance Announces Appointment of Erin Clayton Kuhl to Board of Directors

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GuideOne Insurance today announced the appointment of Erin Clayton Kuhl, an accomplished finance, operations and business leader, to its Board of Directors. Kuhl brings extensive executive leadership experience across insurance, retail, finance and diversified business enterprises, along with a distinguished record of community leadership throughout Iowa.

A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Kuhl most recently served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief of Staff for Krause Group, where she provided strategic leadership across a diverse portfolio of businesses in the United States and Italy. Previously, she served as Chief Financial Officer of Kum & Go and held several senior leadership roles at Athene USA, including Vice President, Controller and Treasurer.

During her tenure with Krause Group, Kuhl led the financial and strategic efforts surrounding the sale of Kum & Go and Solar Transport to Maverik. Earlier in her career, she spent nearly a decade at Athene and its predecessor company, Aviva USA, where she helped lead major financial, operational and growth initiatives.

Kuhl’s achievements have earned significant recognition, including being named the 2024 Business Record Deloitte CFO of the Year.
