U.S. Bank Wealth Management Names Chris Peary Chief Private Banking Officer

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--U.S. Bank announced today that Chris Peary has been named chief private banking officer for Wealth Management.

Peary will be responsible for advancing Wealth Management's strategy to deliver integrated banking, credit and wealth solutions for affluent, high net worth and ultra high net worth clients. He will oversee a relationship-driven private banking platform focused on delivering a consistent, high-quality client experience across all markets.

Peary brings two decades of increasing leadership experience at U.S. Bank, most recently serving as national banking lead and West region banking manager for Ascent Private Capital Management of U.S. Bank while continuing in his role as a client advisor. In those positions, he was responsible for Ascent’s national banking leadership initiatives and its growing banking business; he also led teams serving the firm's ultra high net worth clients.

Peary has also held roles at U.S. Bank in consumer banking, business banking, Private Wealth Management and Ascent since 2016.

Peary earned a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Colorado Boulder and a master's degree in finance from the University of Colorado Denver. He also completed the Executive Leadership Certification program at Pacific Coast Banking School through the University of Washington.
