QAD | Redzone Closes the Gap Between the Shop Floor and the Top Floor

New integration capabilities strengthen the connection between Redzone's frontline execution and QAD's operational backbone, giving manufacturers one continuous flow of information and action between the people making it happen and the systems running the business.

CHICAGO & MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Champions of Manufacturing — QAD | Redzone, the company behind the world’s number one platform for manufacturers, announced an expanded “Better Together” integration between Redzone Connected Workforce and QAD Adaptive ERP, better connecting frontline execution with the broader enterprise and manufacturing technology environment.

“This is much bigger than connecting two products. We’re connecting the frontline with the systems that run the rest of the manufacturing business, creating a continuous flow of information and action."

The integration brings to life one of the central ideas behind the QAD | Redzone Manufacturing Platform: Adaptive ERP provides the operational backbone, while Redzone connects and empowers the people responsible for execution on the frontline. ChampionAI increasingly brings intelligence into the workflows connecting the two.

“Manufacturers don’t operate in silos, and their technology shouldn’t either,” said Ken Fisher, President of Redzone. “This is much bigger than connecting two products. We’re connecting the frontline with the systems that run the rest of the manufacturing business, creating a continuous flow of information and action. That is fundamental to our ambition to become the number one platform for manufacturing.”

How the Integration Connects Frontline and ERP Data

CIOs and operations leaders have long pointed to a persistent gap: frontline tools that never quite connect to the systems running the rest of the business. QAD | Redzone's new integration capability, built with Boomi, closes that gap, connecting seamlessly to ERP, EAM, MES and quality systems so enterprise data flows naturally into frontline workflows.

“Manufacturers have spent decades investing in systems that help them understand what happened,” added Fisher. “The opportunity now is to help them move faster using an AI-powered back office that plans and manages the business, a connected workforce that executes against that plan on the floor, and an intelligence layer that acts and increasingly helps determine what should happen next, from the top floor to the shop floor.”

That shift is already visible on the floor. Operators can confidently perform basic maintenance because equipment data is already in front of them. Inventories become more accurate and up to date in real time. And, maintenance teams can finally work from one shared source of truth instead of reconciling spreadsheets against three systems.

Reyes Automotive Gains Capacity Visibility with Redzone and QAD ERP

Manufacturers already running QAD Adaptive ERP are adopting Redzone specifically to close the visibility gap between planning and execution. Reyes Automotive, a QAD ERP customer and Tier 1 supplier to Toyota, turned to Redzone after coming to believe its existing systems were hiding the true capacity of its plant floor; capacity the company needed to prove out before it could pursue new OEM business without risking its core Toyota production.

With Redzone connected to its QAD ERP environment, Reyes gained the visibility they needed to quantify that capacity, giving leadership the confidence to pursue growth beyond its original customer base without jeopardizing existing commitments.

Built for Today, Not Someday

The latest integration is designed for manufacturers wherever they are in their technology environment today. Customers do not need to run every part of the QAD | Redzone Manufacturing Platform to benefit. A manufacturer can modernize its operational backbone with Adaptive ERP, connect its frontline with Redzone, or do both and gain the compounding value of a single connected environment across the business.

This announcement is part of QAD | Redzone’s broader Manufacturing Intelligence vision unveiled today at Champions of Manufacturing.
