Alight Worklife® Empowers a Leading Integrated Benefits and Leaves Experience

Alight’s established leave solutions are fully powered by Alight Worklife®, where employees and employers benefit from a more connected and confident leave experience

DEERFIELD, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Alight, Inc. (NYSE: ALIT), a leading benefits administration provider of health, wealth and leave solutions, today announced that its leave solutions will be fully integrated within the benefits administration workspace of Alight Worklife®, refining the employee and employer experience to meet the pace of modern business.

Employers are facing rising leave complexity, growing compliance demands and fragmented benefits experiences. Leave management is often disconnected from the programs and benefits employers have already invested in. The integration with Alight Worklife brings leave into a single, connected workflow, helping organizations simplify administration, improve visibility and better support employees before, during and after leave.

“Our clients can rely on the same strong leaves foundation they’ve experienced for years, now elevated through a more connected, intuitive Alight Worklife experience,” said Kevin Curry, Senior Vice President and Head of Leave Solutions at Alight. “This integration is just one step in the evolution of Alight Worklife, every innovation we deliver also strengthens the leave experience.”

Advancing the leave experience through Alight Worklife integration

While the foundation of Alight Worklife remains the same, modern updates make the platform easier for all clients to use, from large-scale, complex employers to standalone leave clients and everyone in between. Participants can leverage fertility and family planning tools, prepare for parental leave and add a newborn to medical coverage, all within Alight Worklife. Key differentiators with this integration include:

  • A thoughtfully designed experience that provides clarity and ease during key leave moments, whether planning a leave, requesting one or managing tasks during leave. Additionally, quick links to resources and to-dos are right where employees need them when they need them.
  • The Alight Partner Network (APN) is available for standalone leave clients who can now access curated partner programs. This gives employers a simpler path to connect employees to programs and services across their journey for support before, during and after leave. Programs include mental health/EAP, fertility and family planning, caregiving, musculoskeletal health, financial wellness and more, with simplified contracting to realize value faster.
  • A connected ecosystem integrates the programs clients have already invested in. With 300+ existing integrations, employers can elevate the programs and support they already have, connecting employees to the right resources at the right time across the full leave journey.
  • A dedicated mobile app experience for leave planning, intake and self-service, including real-time status, pay information and notifications. With a dependable mobile app, employees can plan, submit and manage their leave from anywhere.

These expansions build upon the foundation of Alight Worklife to promote proactive guidance and connected communications across the employee journey, unlocking a more connected leave and wellbeing experience through Alight Worklife. The integration is planned for release in early 2027. Learn more about Alight’s leave of absence solutions at the website here.
