MediaCo’s EstrellaTV Achieves Record Audience Growth in October 2025 Largest Monthly Prime-Time Gain in Network History Among Adults 18-49

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MediaCo Holding Inc. (Nasdaq: MDIA), a national leader in multicultural media, announced today, EstrellaTV, the leading Spanish-language television network for diverse and cross-cultural Hispanic audiences, closed out October 2025 with historic ratings momentum, delivering its largest year-over-year monthly percentage gain among Adults 18-49 since the network began with Nielsen measurement in March 2010.

In October, EstrellaTV’s P18-49 average audience in Mon-Sun prime time surged by +60% compared to the same month last year, climbing from 16.2k to 25.9k. The month also included two of the network’s three highest-rated weekly prime-time performances of 2025, with week one averaging 33.0k viewers in the demo and week four averaging 32.6k.

Within week four’s strong performance, EstrellaTV achieved standout nightly ratings milestones, including:

  • Highest Wednesday prime of the year: 78.5k
  • Highest Sunday prime of the year: 38.1k
  • Second-highest Friday prime: 32.9k
  • Second-highest Saturday prime: 31.8k

Live sports fueled the growth as EstrellaTV delivered its two highest-rated matches of the 2025 Liga MX Apertura season among P18-49:

  • FC Juarez vs. Club Puebla on Friday, Oct. 24: 42.6k
  • Tigres UANL vs. Santos Tijuana on Saturday, Oct. 25: 40.7k

Family entertainment also played a leading role. The new season of Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento – Kids Edition (MF 8p-9p) was the top weekday series on the network in October, averaging 51.6k P18-49 viewers. Encore Sunday airings (7p-9p) averaged 39.8k, followed by the movie La Delgada Linea Amarilla (9p-11p) which averaged 36.3k.

Other weekday standouts in the last week included:

  • Alarma TV (9-10p): up +17% vs. QTD (46.8k vs. 40.0k)
  • 100 Latinos Dijeron (7-8p): up +47% vs. QTD (20.9k vs. 17.4k)

Quarter-to-date through week five, EstrellaTV is the fastest-growing Spanish-language network in prime time among Adults 18-49:

EstrellaTV also delivered its highest weekly total-day P18-49 audience of 2025 with 11.8k viewers, marking a +59% increase vs. the year-to-date average. For the month, total-day P18-49 grew from 8.2k in October 2024 to 9.2k this year.
